What’s the difference between debt review and debt mediation?

Debt review is a legal process that protects you from creditors, while debt mediation is a negotiation process that may not offer legal protection. 

Debt review:   A legal process that restructures your debt into a single monthly payment plan                                                                          
Debt mediation:   A negotiation process that involves a third party, or mediator, to help you reach a mutually agreeable repayment plan

How long is the term in which I pay off my debt?

Until your debt is done and there’s nothing left to pay for

Will my name be black listed whilst under debt mediation?

No, while you are under Debt Mediation, the credit bureaus cannot blacklist you by law.

Am I able to still apply for finance whilst under debt mediation?

Yes, you can apply for credit after you have completed debt mediation, but it may be difficult to get approved. 

How long after will I see results with my credit score when using the credit score boosting service?

Once you start this process, we draw up your ITC and keep that on record, 3 months later we again draw up your ITC to check your progress if it’s not up to our standards it will be another 3 months, but 3 months is generally the time frame in which we give our clients.

How long will it take to remove the flag after the debt review process is done?

It takes between 21- 60 days, depending on the court, the flag is usually removed by attorneys within 2-3 months
